This is a very common form of Elegba or Eshu in Cuba. It is made of concrete with secret ingredients and one stone in its head, adorned by cowry shells, black and red beads, a feather and a small iron blade. Every Olorisha has one of this kind at the entrance of his house, either received by a Babalawo while doing Owofakan or by a Santero while doing Kariosha. Laroye is the typical greeting for Elegbara, speaking of his noble (Yoruba "oye") background. Laroye is his honorific title.
